• Put jewelry on last — after lotion, perfume, and hairspray.
• Take rings off before lifting weights or washing dishes.
• Showering and rain are fine. Pools, hot tubs, and the ocean are not.

1. Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water.
2. Soak the piece for 5 minutes, then gently brush with a soft toothbrush.
3. Rinse in clean water, pat dry with a microfiber cloth.
4. For sterling silver tarnish, use a polishing cloth (included free with every order).

• Bleach, chlorine, and harsh chemical cleaners.
• Ultrasonic cleaners on opal, pearl, turquoise, and emerald — they're porous.
• Storing pieces touching each other; chains tangle and stones scratch.

Keep each piece in its original velvet pouch, out of direct sunlight and humidity. The little anti-tarnish strip in your box keeps silver bright for months — toss a fresh one in every 6 months for best results.
